Costco has played a big part in leading the initiative to enhance the mixture of merchandise all over the world. They did this by tailoring the availability of products based on the area, making sure there's a provision of both local and international products. Costco has a history of discontinuing products after some time, they may release a particular product as a seasonal product and no longer restock it. Overtime, Costco has gradually expanded its product range. Initially, they proffered to sell only boxed products, but now, the products they offer range from food to caskets. The company has plans to expand by opening new warehouses by 2022 in Sweden and New Zealand.
